I sat in the stadium as my grandson played his
final football game of the year.
They were playing the only team that had beaten
them all year.
At first glance, it appears the boys on the other team were faster and bigger.
The other team made the first touchdown and did
not get the extra two points.
I did not take many pictures because my grandson did not get to play very much during the game, but he was rooting for his team the whole game.
With a minute and fifty-eight seconds in the second quarter, the Roger Pirates were eight, and the Russellville Tigers were six.
The Tiger never scored again, but came very close
many times. You could hear the roar of the crowd for the Pirates.
The final score was eighteen to six, and the boys
earned every point.
It was the type of football game you like to see
played, not knowing who would win the final match.
Both teams played a good game. Both teams were winners.
The look on my grandson's face is priceless.
